The list of 2016 films and TV series will likely get even longer as Warner Bros. has announced that it will release more than 1,000 movies and television shows, which will be released in theaters in the coming months.
In total, Warner Bros.’ slate of titles is expected to hit 1,900 titles, and some of those titles will debut in theaters at a later date.
The first of those films, the superhero flick The Dark Knight Rises, will premiere on March 14, 2017.
In addition to the big-budget releases, Warner also plans to release an assortment of smaller movies, TV shows, and games, and it will also release a number of exclusive digital and mobile games.
The announcement comes just days after the studio announced that the studio has sold more than $3 billion worth of digital content over the past 12 months.
