Scientists and engineers have been working on designing an alternative energy system for the planet since the 1950s, when a group of scientists from MIT, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the Harvard University School of Engineering began studying a potential future of solar-powered homes.
The work was inspired by the discovery that solar energy could be harnessed to power buildings in places like Antarctica and the desert regions of North America.
But the research didn’t take off until the late 1990s, after NASA scientists noticed a strange phenomenon in space.
Solar power has been a key part of the planet’s energy production for more than a century.
In the 1970s, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) began studying solar energy as a possible energy source to power the world’s nuclear reactors, which were then under construction in Los Alamos National Laboratory (LAC).
But the project was never realized, largely because the US was in a nuclear arms race.
By the early 2000s, NASA scientists began studying the potential of solar energy in space to harness its tremendous energy potential.
The IAEA’s Solar Energy Technology Program, or STEP, was formed in 2003 to study potential solar-power sources that could help the US produce more energy.
“What we’re seeing now is the dawn of a new era,” said STEP Program Director David R. Pomerantz.
“Solar energy is very, extremely scalable.
There are so many potential applications in space, from space travel to space mining. “

Pomerantz, a physicist by training, said that by 2020, the IAEa would like to be able to determine whether the asteroid has the right ingredients to power solar power, as well as how it will affect the Earth’s climate.
“This would be the first time that we have a real look at a potential source of energy,” he said.
“If we have the right mix of elements in place, we’ll have the ability to harness this energy for energy in the future.”
The US Space and Missile Defense Agency (Smissar) has already started investigating solar energy.
In 2018, it announced a project called Project Slight in Space, which would explore the potential for developing solar power and solar cells that could power a small satellite.
“Solar energy can be harnessing a lot energy, but we can’t do it in space,” said Mark A. O’Connell, a senior adviser to the Office of Science and Technology Policy at the US Department of Energy (DOE), which has been funding the Slight project.
“Asteroids are extremely small and can be seen from Earth only for a few minutes at a time.
It can take days or weeks to actually get that energy.”
Possible applications for solar energyThe solar energy potential of the asteroid is just one example of the many possible uses of solar cells, and other materials, scientists are now finding.
“When we look at this asteroid, we are looking at the very beginning of an era,” O’Brien said.
“There are so few places in the world where we have solar power at this scale.
The solar power capacity on Earth is less than 10 percent of what we can produce.
This asteroid is a good place to start, and it’s a good opportunity to look at how we can harness solar energy to generate power for the Earth and the environment.”NASA’s Solar Electric Power Program is working on a mission to land on the asteroid, called the Asteroid Redirect Mission, or ARMD, and begin investigating potential energy sources.
But NASA is still very much focused on how to create clean, renewable energy on the asteroids.
